Kenner Police arrest hundreds in crackdown on fake temporary license plates

KENNER, La. (WVUE) – To curb a growing issue, the Kenner Police Department has arrested nearly 300 people in a crackdown on fake temporary license plates since June. According to Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley, these counterfeit tags often signal more significant issues, such as unlicensed driving and lack of insurance, posing a physical and financial risk to law-abiding residents.
