A chilly Saturday morning ahead for some

NEW ORLEANS – As high pressure builds into the north of us, cool and dry air will stay in place throughout Friday and into the weekend. Mornings will be in the 40s first thing Saturday on the North Shore, so it may be jacket weather in those locations. We will start in the 50s everywhere else, and afternoons will start a warming trend beginning Saturday when we get into the upper 70s.
