KENNER, La. ( WGNO ) — A Kenner school unveiled a $50,000 renovation provided by the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Monday, Dec. 16.
Greenlawn Terrace Elementary School cut the ribbon on a new learning center that was originally a storage closet.

Now, the new center has new learning tools and furniture.
“Because of the good fortune we’ve had over the years with the football game, it put us in a position where we can help in a small way, financially,” said Allstate Sugar Bowl CEO Jeff Hundley.
The funds were donated by the Allstate Sugar Bowl through the Extra Yard for Teachers Program sponsored by the College Football Foundation.
