Audubon Park sounds different this time of year. Enter from the downriver side of the park in late October and you’ll hardly notice it. One month later and you won’t be able to ignore it. By December, you’ll hear the playful squeaking, squawking, and chirping before you even reach the park’s iconic lagoons. And by mid-January? The sound can induce delight or madness, depending on how much peace and quiet you are seeking.
