According to CNN, a driver intentionally rammed a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street early Wednesday morning, claiming the lives of at least 15 people and injuring dozens more. The FBI has labeled the incident an “act of terrorism.”
The suspect, 42-year-old Army veteran Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was identified by the FBI. He was killed in a firefight with law enforcement.
