Bloodied lip, late deficit can’t stop Jesuit, Brother Martin wrestlers at Louisiana Classic

A bloodied lip and a late deficit did little to deter two New Orleans area wrestlers at the Louisiana Classic tournament Saturday at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.

Both came away as champions, each helping his team as Jesuit placed second and Brother Martin third at the all-divisions tournament won by perennial Division II power Teurlings Catholic.
