Louisiana uses flusher truck to wash snow instead of urine

New Orleans, Louisiana received snow for the first time in 15 years. While the area isn’t used to clearing snow, it’s familiar with cleaning up messes. The city used a flusher truck to remove snow instead of the usual trash, urine, puke, beads, and more.

New Orleans and other areas in Louisiana had to get a bit creative after receiving record amounts of ice and snow .

According to Fox 56 News , over 200 miles of interstate are expected to remain closed through Friday. There are just too many patches of black ice and snow. Plus, Louisiana burned through its normal salt supply while trying to treat all of the roads.

So, the city decided to repurpose a cleanup truck as a makeshift snowplow temporarily. With the help of Big Easy, the private waste management firm, a 4,000-gallon flusher truck was deployed…
