Doctor assists in sister’s ankle monitor escape attempt in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS — Jefferson Parish manslaughter defendant Kyana Traylor was ordered to wear an electronic ankle bracelet when she was freed last year on $650,000 bail.

Last week, an elaborate scheme by Traylor to try and remove the device put police, bail bond agents and an ankle monitoring company to a serious test.
