METAIRIE, La. — A vehicle fire on I-10 eastbound caused major delays for divers on Sunday.
According to the DOTD, all three eastbound lanes were blocked on I-10 East at the I-10/I-610 East split due to a vehicle fire and traffic congestion had reached Bonnabel Boulevard. The fire was put out and all lanes reopened.
Videos posted on social media show the vehicle on fire on the right shoulder near the Bonnabel exit. It is unclear at this time what caused the fire or if anyone was injured…
