New Orleans, LA – A dense fog advisory is in effect for much of southern Louisiana, southeastern Mississippi, and southwest Alabama, with visibility expected to drop below one-quarter mile during early morning hours Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service offices in Lake Charles, New Orleans, and Mobile, the advisory begins at 3 a.m. CDT and remains in effect until 10 a.m. for inland areas, with marine warnings also in place across coastal waters and bays through 9–10 a.m. The advisory covers major cities including New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mobile, Biloxi, and Pensacola, impacting both land and marine travel.
