A sluggish storm system is currently drenching sections of south-central Texas. This feature will take its time moving eastward towards our area, and there are still questions regarding when the highest rain coverage will arrive.
The Weather Prediction Center has already outlined sections of Texas & Louisiana within a Slight Risk(Level 2 out of 4) for excessive rainfall & flash flooding on Friday-Saturday.
This forecast is a bit challenging, as the timing is still a bit hazy, as there could be more than one round of storms.
