NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – An employee who was caught on video mishandling the body of a homicide victim has been fired, according to a statement from the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office.
The victim has been identified as Michael Craig Hankins, 61.
The NOPD investigators say they are investigating Hankins’s death, which occurred near his Bywater home.
