New Orleans police are searching for the driver of a Dodge Challenger in connection with a March hit-and-run crash that left a child seriously injured in the New Orleans East neighborhood of Pines Village, police said Tuesday.
The driver of the Dodge is accused of hitting a child on bicycle while traveling north on Downman Road near its intersection with Lewis Road at around 11 a.m. March 3, according to police investigators. Police described the victim’s injuries as “life threatening” but did not provide an update on the victim’s condition.
