Shreveport, LA – A tornado watch has been issued for a wide area of northern Louisiana, placing 15 parishes under weather alert until 7 p.m. Saturday as severe storms move across the region.
According to the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, the watch includes Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, De Soto, Jackson, Lincoln, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Sabine, Union, Webster, and Winn parishes. The alert went into effect at 9:55 a.m. CDT.
