Louisiana bounty hunter resentenced in case of raid gone wrong

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A Louisiana bounty hunter at the center of a WAFB I-TEAM investigation was resentenced in a federal court this week on kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping charges.

The I-TEAM first exposed video of Wayne D. Lozier Jr., 46, of the New Orleans area, struggling with a woman who was hog-tied on the ground after missing a court date for misdemeanor charges in St. Tammany Parish.

The video shows Lozier and another bounty hunter, Jody L. Sullivan, at a home in Missouri in May of 2019 telling a homeowner that he didn’t need her permission to enter her home, before going into the home and handcuffing the woman…
