A Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy helping to execute a search warrant at a Marrero home shot and wounded a dog that attacked and bit another deputy on Friday morning, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The shooting was reported about 11:30 a.m. at a residence in the 5100 block of Mt. Rushmore Drive, said Sgt. Brandon Veal, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office.
