Undocumented Tennessee fugitive with ties to MS-13 gang arrested in Kenner, police say

KENNER, La. (WVUE) – License plate-reading cameras in Kenner tipped local police and federal agents to an alleged MS-13 gang affiliate wanted out of Tennessee, authorities say.

“We did what we had to do, and we completed the mission,” Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley told Fox 8 on Sunday (June 8).

The fugitive suspect was arrested Friday night in the 2000 block of Kentucky Avenue, after nearly eight hours of surveillance by authorities. Conley said he could not yet disclose the name of the suspect nor his alleged Tennessee crime, as it could compromise an ongoing federal investigation…
