New Orleans residents arrested in Kenner for alleged shoplifting attempt

KENNER, La. (WGNO) — A New Orleans man and woman are in Kenner police custody after an alleged shoplifting attempt.

According to the Kenner Police Department, on July 1, 33-year-old James Mosley and 33-year-old Shandell Quinn were reportedly spotted in Walmart’s self-checkout line doing what officers call the “skip-scan.”

The two allegedly attempted to leave the store with $86.57 worth of unpaid merchandise.

Kenner officers said the two were detained by Walmart’s asset protection team before being arrested by Kenner PD.
