Heat advisory in effect for south Louisiana, with ‘feels like’ temps possibly reaching 110

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

Temperatures could feel like 110 degrees in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, making for a sweltering start to the week, forecasters said.
