NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The trial for two men accused of shooting a University of New Orleans student, Noah Hansard, in 2022 during a robbery began Tuesday.
Tata Say and Cruz Matute stand trial for the 2022 shooting that paralyzed Hansard.
On Day 1 of the trial, lawyers presented opening statements, called witnesses to the stand, and showed the body cam footage from the shooting after officers arrived to the scene.
