A motorcyclist died Friday evening in Harvey after he struck a car in front of him as it made a left turn as he tried to pass it, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene at Alex Kornmann Boulevard and Sandy Lane just before 6:45 p.m.
The Sheriff’s Office said deputies responding to the call at 6:45 pm found a grey Toyota Camry damaged on the front driver’s side.
