Smoothie King has been serving up delicious drinks since 1973. Starting off in Jefferson Parish, the large company now boasts nearly 2,000 locations. Smoothie King’s commitment to their customers’ health is at the forefront of their latest offerings. Smoothie King’s airy, contemporary location in Metairie showcased these new drinks and bowls and explained what makes them so good for you.
Fore-mostly, Smoothie King’s menu has evolved, changing out some ingredients as part of their Clean Blends promise. All Smoothie King smoothies and bowls have whole fruits and organic vegetables and all of them are gluten and soy free. There are no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or syrups.
The new Hydration Blends line is great for those in hot climates (like ours) as they include electrolytes. The Watermelon Hydration Smoothie released in spring quickly sold out, so we tried the Pineapple Mango Hydration and Berry Hydration smoothies.
