Greg Bostwick· SAYSWill be closely monitoring a surge of deep moisture moving across the Gulf next week.This surge should be south of New Orleans by Thursday evening and moving westward.Obviously the water temperatures over the northern Gulf are quite warm in the 85-88 range which would supply plenty of energy.The main question, will the upper level conditions such as wind shear be favorable?It remains too soon to determine if the upper level conditions will support development.
