Three men killed in separate shootings last week were identified Tuesday by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office.
Investigations into all three shootings are ongoing, according to the New Orleans Police Department. Police did not provide further updates.
Man killed in Central City
Vidale Tory Pope, 49, was found wounded in a vacant lot in the 1500 block of South Liberty Street at around 5:30 p.m. on July 23.
He’d been shot in the face and died later at a hospital, according to New Orleans police.
Man killed in Milan
Joseph Kuykendall, 46, was found in the Milan area in the 2900 block of Louisiana Avenue at around 10:07 p.m. on July 24, police said. He’d been shot multiple times…
