Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide on the Westbank.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday on 3rd Avenue near 5th Street in Harvey.
Deputies say someone called them after hearing gunshots. When investigators arrived, they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself. The man died at the scene. The woman later died at a hospital…
