NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The U.S. Marshals Office has confirmed that Khalil Bryan, an Orleans Parish inmate who was mistakenly released last Friday (July 25), is now officially considered a fugitive.
Authorities say the search for Bryan is being treated with the same urgency as the ongoing manhunt for Derrick Groves, an inmate who escaped from jail during a May 16 breakout and remains at large.
