NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The first full week of August is shaping up to be hot and muggy just as should be expected.
Mornings will be very mild, in the upper 70s with some coastal showers. Long-term average highs are in the low 90s and that’s right where we can expect highs to top out before spotty afternoon storms take over.
A few isolated spots might see some heavy downpours, leading to 1-2 inches of rain, but there will be plenty of dry time…
