Young Jeezy
Rapper Young Jeezy already had a couple of independent releases under his belt when Def Jam released his label debut “Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101” in 2005. It catapulted Jeezy into the mainstream, and the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The forerunner of trap music is celebrating the album’s 20th anniversary this year with shows backed by an orchestra.
