HARAHAN, La. (WVUE) – Two people were hospitalized early Sunday (Aug. 10) after exchanging gunfire inside a Harahan gas station, police said.
Harahan Police Chief Ed Lepre said the shooting happened shortly after midnight at the Shell station on Hickory and Citrus. According to Lepre, one person entered the store, and a second person walked in a few minutes later. Both pulled out guns and began shooting at each other.
Both individuals were taken to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. The severity of their injuries has not been determined, and it is unclear whether any are life-threatening…
