FOX 8 Investigation: City paid nearly $1 million to unlicensed contractor

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A FOX 8 investigation finds the City of Harahan paid more than $800,000 to an unlicensed contractor to work on several different public projects.

Harahan city documents show that since April 2024, Harahan has paid at least $882,688.50 to Galaforo Companies LLC, a Harahan-based construction company owned by Paul Galaforo.
