NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Lauren Haydel, owner of Fleurty Girl, a well-known clothing boutique with locations in New Orleans, Metairie and Bay St. Louis, said she nearly fell victim to an online scam.
She received an anonymous email from someone claiming to be a producer with Katie Couric’s media company. The sender said they wanted to feature her business.
