NEW ORLEANS — A fisherman pulled a woman to safety Thursday morning after she allegedly jumped from the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway bridge.
As our partners at The Times-Picayune report, Causeway General Manager Carlton Dufrechou said the woman parked her vehicle in the crossover nearest the Northshore side of the bridge around 10 a.m. and jumped about 20 feet into the lake.
A fisherman nearby reached her within minutes and brought her to safety…
