A man was arrested in connection with a Saturday morning killing in the St. Claude neighborhood, New Orleans police announced on Tuesday.
Daniel Spencer, 56, was booked into the New Orleans jail on a count of second-degree murder, battery and disturbing the peace hours after the shooting, according to online jail records.
At 8:11 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a “man down” on a porch in the 1200 block of Lesseps Street. Kenneth Simms, 30, was found unresponsive with an apparent puncture wound, according to NOPD.
