A 50/50 weekend; No tropical threat for the Gulf

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – After a stormy Friday, tonight the weather will dry out with lows in the mid 70s. The weekend will feature more spotty storms Saturday although not a washout. Sunday much drier , although hot a tad less humid.

The rest of the weekend will see less rain coverage as the frontal boundary settles along the coast and washes out. It will be drier to finish the weekend with temperatures rebounding into the middle 90s each afternoon. Looking ahead a stronger front pushes all the way down to the coast by the end of next week. Some areas will see a few crisp mornings with afternoon highs in the upper 80s…
