New Orleans Police Make Key Arrests in Three Separate Murder Cases

The New Orleans Police Department, in a recent operation, apprehended three suspects for their alleged involvement in separate murder cases. According to the New Orleans Police Department News, the arrests, which took place on Thursday, aimed to bring justice to the cases of violent deaths that shook the community earlier in August.

The first individual detained is Timothy Hall, a 26-year-old Black male whose date of birth is listed as May 4, 1999. Hall was connected to a homicide that occurred on Iberville Street on August 24. Law enforcement officials, including the New Orleans Police Department VOWS and the US Marshal’s Service, implemented the arrest in the 900 block of Jourdan Avenue. Hall is facing a charge of second-degree murder, as stated in LA R.S. 14:30.1, and currently awaits legal proceedings at Orleans Parish Justice Center, as obtained by the New Orleans Police Department News.

A double homicide led to the second arrest of 18-year-old Ra’Quine Butler, apprehended by the collaboration of NOPD VOWS, the US Marshal Service, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. Butler’s arrest took place at the 400 block of Phlox Ave, Metairie, LA, relating to an incident that happened on August 12 in the 2100 block of Allen Street. He was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and is awaiting extradition to New Orleans to be charged with two counts of second-degree murder under LA R.S. 14:30.1, as reported by the New Orleans Police Department…
