NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A big drop in humidity is expected to arrive by the end of the weekend as another front pushes down from the north.
Ahead of that front, expect a hot and humid start to the weekend. Saturday afternoon temperatures will climb into the low 90s but feels-like readings are likely to touch 100. A small 20 percent rain chance remains.
The frontal passage is expected to arrive on Saints Sunday. This will drop our humidity tremendously by the second half of the day, setting up a beautiful start to the new work week. We could see lows Monday morning dip well into the 60s in many spots with a breeze making it feel even better…
