Free kidney screenings in Marrero
The National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana is hosting a free kidney screening for adults on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd., Marrero.
The screening includes:
- urine and blood tests to get an in-depth measure of kidney function,
- blood pressure reading for hypertension awareness,
- and kidney health education.
