NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A woman was killed in a car crash on Canal Street Wednesday, Sept. 17.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the woman was traveling southbound in a cab. Upon turning into a loading dock of a nearby business, the cab reportedly struck a curb and accelerated into a wall. Police were notified of the crash at 1:48 p.m.
She was transported to a local hospital where she later died around 4:17 p.m…
