A man killed in a Gentilly shooting earlier this week was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office Thursday as Gerald Holley, 20.
The shooting was first reported at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Mexico Street, where police found Holley suffering from a gunshot wound.
