NEW ORLEANS — Nearly six years after the Hard Rock Hotel collapse in downtown New Orleans, a tentative settlement has been reached.
According to our partners at NOLA.com, the building’s owner and its insurers have agreed in principle to resolve claims from more than 400 workers, bystanders, and businesses impacted by the 2019 disaster.
The deal remains confidential and doesn’t cover separate suits against contractors, engineers, or steel providers…
