NEW ORLEANS — Parish officials have issued a precautionary boil water advisory for St. Bernard Middle School and the surrounding area due to emergency repair work.
The advisory affects the following areas:
- Torres Drive (from E. Judge Perez Drive to Pals Drive)
- Farmsite Road (from Woodchase Court to Torres Drive)
- Woodchase Court (entire street)
- St. Bernard Middle School
The Parish has not provided a timeline for when the advisory will be lifted, but residents should take precautions in the meantime.
Those affected should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth and cleaning food, and avoid swallowing water while bathing. Those with open wounds, chronic illnesses, or weakened immune systems should use boiled or bottled water for bathing as well…
