A 72-year-old man who was found tied up and dead in a hotel room on the edge of the French Quarter earlier this week was identified as Ralph Yarborough by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office Friday.
Yarborough’s preliminary cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma. Police said Tuesday that it appeared that he suffered head trauma inside a Homewood Suites hotel room on the 300 block of North Rampart Street.
