New Orleans sees deadliest week since Jan. 1 terror attack, crime watchdog says

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Metropolitan Crime Commission says last week was the deadliest in the city since the Jan. 1 terror attack on Bourbon Street.

According to the MCC, eight homicides were investigated last week, five since Friday evening.

The first homicide Friday happened at Kermit’s Treme Mother-in-Law Lounge and the last happened early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Bourbon Street…
