Gulf disturbance late week brings change

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The copy and paste forecast will soon come to an end as we turn our attention to a weak low forming in the Gulf.

For now it’s all about the heat as highs remain in the 90s for the last day of September and first day of October. Rain chances remain low.

By the end of the week and going into the weekend we’ll see a disturbed area in the Gulf. This disturbance won’t totally be tropical in nature so development into a storm isn’t anticipated at this time. It will still have the same type of impacts as a weak tropical system with rain threats and an increase in our coastal tides…
