NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The man accused of killing a Brennan’s restaurant sous chef last week while committing a carjacking at a Mid-City daycare has died from a gunshot wound, New Orleans police confirmed Sunday (Oct. 5).
Raymond Wells, 21, died early Friday, pronounced at 1:06 a.m. at University Medical Center, NOPD spokesperson Karen Boudrie said.
Wells was found behind the wheel of sous chef Carl Morgan’s stolen car last Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 in Metairie. Wells was unresponsive, found with a gunshot wound to the back of his head…
