A man and a woman are dead after gunfire this morning in New Orleans East.
“New Orleans Police are investigating a homicide,” Sgt. Barry Fletcher said in an email. “Police responded to a residence in the 14700 block of Chef Menteur Highway shortly before 7:30 a.m.”
