NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A 61-year-old man died Thursday night (Oct. 9) after a carjacking in the French Quarter, according to NOPD.
The incident happened around 8:37 p.m. near the intersection of Bienville and Burgundy streets. Police said the man got into a struggle with a suspect during the carjacking. During the fight, the vehicle rolled over and pinned the man underneath.
The suspect ran away before police arrived…
