Nearly a decade after a Raising Cane’s manager was killed during a robbery in Kenner, the last person charged in the case has been sentenced.
A Jefferson Parish judge on Thursday sentenced Ariana Runner, 31, to five years in prison for conspiracy to commit armed robbery and obstruction of justice in the murder investigation. Her sentencing closes a case that began in 2016 when Taylor Friloux, 21, was stabbed to death inside the restaurant where she worked.
Three other defendants were sentenced earlier. Joshua Every, who admitted to stabbing Friloux, is serving life in prison after pleading guilty last month. Gregory Donald received 89 years in 2019, and Mark Crocklen was sentenced to 40 years in 2018…
