Former Ochsner doctor sentenced after hiding cameras in hospital bathrooms

JEFFERSON, La. — A former Ochsner doctor who hid cameras in hospital bathrooms has been sentenced to one year in prison, with six years of his seven-year sentence suspended.

Andrew Matthews, 37, pleaded guilty to six counts of video voyeurism on Wednesday. As part of his sentence, he will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
