Last suspect sentenced in Raising Cane’s killing

KENNER, La. — The final person convicted in connection with the deadly 2016 stabbing of a Raising Cane’s manager in Kenner could be released as soon as Thursday.

Our partners at the Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate report a Jefferson Parish judge sentenced Ariana Runner to 5 years in prison with credit for time served.

Runner pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit armed robbery and obstruction of justice after prosecutors said she recruited another suspect, Gregory Donald, to help the alleged mastermind, Joshua Every, in the crime back in 2016…
